This diet plan for those who want to lose a lot of weight claims that you will drop up to 10 pounds if you follow it for three full days.  The menu includes three breakfasts, lunches and dinners.  Indeed, that is if you consider a cup of tuna fish or two hot dogs, plus fruit and veggie sides, dinner.

The Three Day Diet Plan

One thing to be very aware of is that  you will not be eating very much at all.  On day one of the diet plan, you get just 870 calories. Furthermore, days two and three are not much different.

So, What can you Eat on this Diet Plan?


“What you can and cannot eat”

For three whole days of the diet plan, you’ll eat just basic meals made with foods you may already have in your kitchen. For example, breakfast on day 1 is:-

  • black coffee or water
  • half a grapefruit
  • a slice of toast with a tablespoon of peanut butter.

Lunch is a half cup of tuna, another slice of toast, and another cup of black coffee (or tea or water)

If you’re searching for a assortment of foodie thrills, you will not find them here.

Day Two of the Diet Plan

Lunch on day 2, for example, is nothing but a cup of cottage cheese and some saltine crackers. Sauces, dressings, and even spices are off the menu.  If you have a sweet tooth, however, you will be amazed to find vanilla ice cream on this diet every day.

What about Vegetarians and Vegans?


“Does it allow for dietary restrictions or preferences?”

Vegetarians and vegans: This particular diet plan is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.   Furthermore, this diet plan is not at all low-salt, low-carb or low-fat either – just low-calorie.
Gluten-free: This diet contains toast and crackers, which commonly contain gluten in the wheat. You could buy gluten-free versions if you really want to.  However, this is not really a gluten free diet.

“What else should you know?”

This diet plan was clearly not developed by nutrition experts. When judging any diet, as well as this one, keep in mind two key pieces of advice: Firstly, if a diet plan sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Secondly, if you cannot see yourself following a diet plan for the rest of your life, then long term weight loss is probably not going to happen.

A Smoothie Diet Plan you Could Consider

I think a short diet plan can not harm you too much, even if you hardly eat anything at all. However, if you starve yourself for longer periods of time then you may start to run into problems. In any case, you really should be eating highly nutritious healthy foods.

Jess’s Favorite Smoothie Recipe


“A Delicious 3 Day Diet Plan Smoothie Recipe”

1/4 pineapple
1/4 lemon
Quarter of a lime
1/4 orange
2 apples (seeds removed)
3 carrots
1 bunch of mint
1/2 bunch of parsley
1/4 head of celery
1/2 cucumber
2 cups spinach

Then put the lid on, and go!
You can put some ice cubes in it as well, if you enjoy a colder, more slushier drink. Just be sure to blend those in well with the rest of the foods in the blender.
