“Dropped and regained?”

Sure, you may have attempted to diet before. You have threw away the cookies in the cookie jar, and virtuously declined the cake at the party. And then, a few weeks into it, your motivation begins to collapse. Maybe you hit a plateau in your weight loss diet, or perhaps you are bored with steamed veggies for dinner night after night, or, tempted by a delicious-looking desert, you choose that ‘just this one time can’t hurt.‘ A few slip-ups and you are absolutely hindered, emotionally and physically.


“Chart your progress”

Weight loss is a serious business. Treat it that way. Weigh yourself every morning – a study shoes that people who do daily weigh-ins are more successful – and write that number down. If you’re even vaguely computer savvy, it’s a snap to create a chart with a fever line that shows the pounds dropping away over time. When you get discouraged, say, you haven’t lost a pound in a week, seeing your long term progress will boost your motivation.
