Magnetic Reconnection Simulation Near the Sun's Surface
These images come from this article: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/2041-8213/aca8ae which also has a nice animation. Its a darn good computer simulation of some "reconnections" of magnetic flux loops happening near the sun surface. This is important because the sun is big torus with smaller rotating tori inside it, that we can study and then apply the knowledge onto smaller tori.
Arrows on image A are showing a smoke-like debris from a reconnection, and some of it forms plasmoid rings. Those get pulled into the green outflow flux.
Image B shows some purple lines that originated slightly deeper than we can see, at a 90 degree angle to the green lines, and they curl and join into the green flux flow direction, but they like to spiral. Image C and D are showing how a lot of these can combine and make a "flux rope" structure.
Image D is "Nuts and Bolts", my analogy for the debris from a reconnection. (what the smoke in image A is made of). Some is tube fragments, some are rings/cheerios, some are 2D interlinked surface shreddies. I think these will have a desire to reform into rings and better tubes.
This article states that Torsion waves have the same structure, so that's cool. That "torsion wave" phrase has other names like "scalar wave", "longitudinal wave", and I personally refer to it as the rotating horizontal plane outflow that is mostly higher density flux.
These sun science articles are cool. The sun's equatorial plane ( ie, horizontal plane) has a current "sheet". (imagine a bed sheet). That's a great match for the horizontal plane barrier that is present in symbolism. I love that these simulations show that energy flowing outward also wants to have a clockwise curve. Remember "clockwise" depends on your viewpoint. From outside view, image C looks counterclockwise, but place your imaginary eye viewpoint into the center of C's spiral, looking upward in the outflow direction, and from that viewpoint, it's "clockwise". This is how I always force myself to visualize.
My thought experiment visualizations have been doing quite well, but as usual, it's always knowledge already known somewhere out there.
I got into this sun stuff today, thanks to a friend request, and his timeline has a sun post. It was this one: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/2041-8213/ab8acd Sun scientists use words like "interchange reconnection" and "switchback", and I had to visit wikipedia to find out what those words are about. The sun surface has granulations and crevices, which cause some of the flux turbulence, but I for arbitrary size smaller tori, we probably don't have to worry about switchbacks as much. They seem akin to the "droopy cloth" flux symbol.
What excites me is this: I'm quite certain that our sun scientists are not bold enough yet to be talking about higher-density/etheric flux, but symbolism thinks its important. The sun must be converting a lot of that into 'our-reality' flux, in the zone just outside granulations surface of the sun, and I hope that's a clue that we can take with us to harness that energy from earth surface tori.
Image B has a "dark" spot. Maybe the sun scientists DO know about flux density thresholds where flux leaves our reality. The red and blue spots, are like what Bob Greenyer calls "yin and yang".
