Matthias Schneider Images Confirm Horizontal Plane Outflows
Photographer Matthias Schneider put image A through E onto pInterest, thank-you.
Image A, B and C, look at the back of the waist, those are horizontal plane outflows, going up and down. This also unequivocally establishes that the horizontal arms are intended to represent the horizontal plane outflows, which go up and down.
These layouts with interchangeable parts are an incredible opportunity for study. What sort of flow directions go up and/or down at the top of the heads? Image A also has an outflow from the mouth.
I propose that on image J, K, L and M, that horizontal arm symbol means what it means on A thru I. Sometimes the hand holds an upward flow symbol. Piled-up stuff like on an offering table, hopefully that can be a future post.
That horizontal arm symbol, quite often it is used in the middle of a cartouche. Treating some of them as pictograms and not phoneme names of nonexistant pharaohs, that would be a nice change. I particularly liked image L, with the vertical plant outflow going up through the arm barrier.
You've seen image N and O before, illustrating a teapot handle being an outflow from the horizontal plane of one torus, to another, and image P conveys that it's a 3D phenomenon, not just a 2D diagram.
