Luna and Sol Portal Symbols: A Recap
Luna and Sol portal symbols, a recap. I've marked up a neat image by Athanasias Kercher, who is usually trustable for symbolism.
"A" is a Sol portal, "B" is a Luna portal, surrounded by clouds which represent a barrier to the next higher density. "C" is the portal for central flow, with a gap in the cloud barrier, and A and B are for "Side flow".
Notice there is also an "A" and "B" in the bottom diagonal corners. These are the portals through the lower barrier, shown by ocean, or an ocean-land interface. Everything below that ocean is in a different reality, considered lower than ours.
"D" on both sides, near ribbons with words, represent those side flows. Too bad the ribbons didn't go all the way down to the lower A and B, but they connect into the circles "I" and "J", which are the portals to the horizontal plane.
"E" is the bottom center portal, rooster means upward flow and stag means downward etheric flow. So the center path is bi-directional. "G" is holding a red sphere and a balance. The balance means bidirectional (but it's not evident why on this post, but I've posted about balances before). "F" is a book symbol, which means a portal, and when it has 2 pages open, that also means bidirectional portal.
L is sunflowers and M is probably a Lily, which is a downward flow etheric symbol. The half-circles around those are also portal markers.
The "I" horizontal portal seems to show horizontal outflow toward the left, (but sometimes compasses are a hint that the flow is rotating). The "J" Tree seems to be just vertical flow upward, but perhaps there is not enough resolution to have apples or pears visible.
The left side flow path from A to A is upward, and the B to B side flow is downward (but bidirectional) and this layout has no diagonal X crossings. Other layouts do sometimes show A and B switch sides, sometimes with X crossing flow paths.
Moving on to the bottom row of images. I'm making a point about eagles with curved beaks. It is not difficult to find Eagles on the same side as Luna in the upper corners. Image N has an upward spear on the Sol side, leaving the Eagle to represent the downward flow side.
Image N has Eagle near the XC, which is the bidirectional side flow side, many examples are easy to find. Image P shows water as downward flow on the Luna side, Image Q shows a crook or crozier, a downward flow symbol on the opposite side of the golden Sol.
Lots of people involved in symbolism have been taught differently, and have never read about what I'm teaching here. I guarantee that whatever old books say, they just show 1 or 2 pictures and expect you to trust them, and people have believed those "printed in a famous book" guesses. In my case, all my previous posts on these subjects are lengthy and findable and contain far more images as evidence, and here are my raw image collections, for you to take time to really study: https://se.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/luna-and-sol/ https://se.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/eagle/
I tend to prefer to label portals as Sol and Luna, but there are so many other portal symbols that are like opposite polarity pairs. I could say Angel and Eagle. I could say Flower Bud and Conche, I could say IC and XC. And many more.
To learn symbolism, you'll need to memorize some of the side symbols that indicate flow directions, and become familiar with barriers around torus symbols, and where the typical portal locations are on the barrier and at the core.
