Rings / circles representing a torus, can be small and half-overlap with other bigger tori, acting as portals between the bigger tori, and crosslinking them together, image A and B are examples, and many more are here: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/ring-portal/

Making cross-linked surfaces that are like fabric, like a barrier or boundary around energy structures of various shapes, I think that's something nature can do. That is, I'm believing that ancient people wanted to teach this and preserve the knowledge, using symbols in diagrams that we call symbolism. You don't have to believe it.

Small rings and circles representing tori can half-overlap bigger tori, acting as portals that crosslink them into barrier fabric, a structure nature

Square portals, Image C and D also have those crosslinking portals, little tori, but they are square shaped. Image E shows a big square shaped torus with an outer barrier of little round tori, that are presumably interlinked.

This post is made to support my post earlier today, saying that some square shapes found in Hebrew letters and hieroglyphics, can be tori, and some are tori serving as portals.

It's quite a relief, relieved of the burden of having to understand all the birds and folliage inside these torus shapes. If you want to see a whole lot of outer barrier examples, see this collection: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/barrier/
