This pillow is handy for symbolism, but a nuisance on a bed. The ends of this pillow have markings of portals.

On chairs like image A D and E, from many other kinds of evidence (not shown here) the seated persons thighs are at the 'horizontal plane' level, and so is the pillow.

Some of these pictograms show the enclosing torus outer shape, the arch-and-columns of image D and the circle of image B. But quite often that outer torus barrier is not shown.

The bottom of image A has foreground symbols on the floor, representing 'the three' portals or kinds of flow: two cups with brims and one cone shape. The top of image A has 3 ribbons with tassles, the three again, a center flow and two side flows. I mention all this because I want to say that the pillow is halfway up on the pictogram, on the horizontal plane. Image B's pillow is clearly halfway at the horizontal plane.

When the object doesn't look like a chair, especially image C and F, where it's more like an 'altar', that horizontal tabletop is still usually the horizontal plane in pictograms. Similarly with Egyptian offering tables. Many pictograms assume you know this already because you are ancient and went to ancient symbol school. I didn't. We're home schooling now, apparently.

Therefore I'm sharing, this pillow is handy, when you see it, you know where the horizontal plane is. And once again, this symbol can be found in many cultures.
