The thin picture frame, and the places where a body part overlaps it, are sneaky barrier penetrations, portals, in symbolism. Even when the title of the book is supposedly about astronomy, the content is about symbolism. Designed to mislead the populace and amuse the knowledgable.

Energy-flow symbolism reading: The thin picture frame, and the places where a body part

Compare C and F, the dots are not accurate to stars or each other. They are just symbols of energy flow. Image A is a straight-ish leg doing outflow (away from the core). Image B is about the tail doing outflow and then a loop-back inflow at the bottom. C and F have flow from the sickle hand to the outflow in the other hand.

Those sickles are equivalent to Lunas, downward inflow (toward the core), but you might call them loop-back shapes, like a crook.

Image E stag antlers are inflow toward the head. The forelegs are outflow. Image D not Arabic, but Hildegard von Bingen shows the top of the head and the feet serving as portals, and the surrounding strata layers are a common way to diagram the torus energy structure.

Image A and E are animal heads "looking back". I've started a collection of them, https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/looking-back/ and I'm noticing the hair-lines on the neck, or the lines on the horns, are similar to the "Mohawk" helmet, https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/mohawk/ and I'm growing more convinced that these are Luna-equivalent. Ie, an animal looking-back can be an etheric symbol all by itself, the kind of portal that gives bi-directional energy flow and communication with higher-density / God.

While looking at the looking-back collection (click the URL above, please) it's worth noticing animals with horns that have the "little lines" markings and how they make a loop from a side-outflow position to a top-of-the-head inflow position, ie, a "loop-back". I'll collect more and do a better post in the future.
