Eyes as Portals: Energy Outflows and Side Loop Symbolism
Eyes can be portal symbols. Images A and B are doing outflow horizontally that curves downward. C is the outflow of a container. Energy flows in symbolism, not literal water.
Image E is about the "looking back" head curve and the way the horn has little lines, and it makes a "side loop" from the legs to the horizontal plane of the head. Image D has a similar curve and little lines. The concept of "thin to thick" (or visa versa), I'm noticing it now and wondering if it is marking a change in energy density. I don't always know the flow direction of side loops.
The shovel symbol on the Sema-Tawy image I. The shovel makes a bottom penetration portal, and notice the water flowing upward from the portal it created. ( I mentioned these on my recent post about the Adze symbol ). The Sema-Tawy has lots of concepts to notice: the central flow path from bottom to top. The "tension" concept along the horizontal plane (through the knot). The "loop back" of side flows at the top barrier level. The two types of flowers, Lotus being downward flow and the other is upward.
The middle legs of a scarab beetle are sometimes stubby like image K and L. The hand placement on image K is showing us the horizontal plane. Image M has stubby folliage hanging down, these are horizontal outflows that curve downward. Image N's spiral hair is a flow symbol at ears level (horizontal plane of a head-torus), that connects to the body-torus, but I'm not sure if flow direction is established yet. Side loops can be either direction.
