Egyptian Scales: Heart Containers, Feathers and Upward Flow

The heart container on the Egyptian scales (image A) is an upward flow direction symbol, and the feather is downward. The Up and Down pattern. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/up-and-down/

Image B is great evidence because the container connects to a beard, and beards are very reliably meaning upward flow to the head. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/beard/

Energy-flow symbolism reading: The heart container on the Egyptian scales (image A) is an

Image C has a typical outflow symbol with a curve at the top, from the container. They can look like plant stems that bend at the top. ( Now we know the bend is likely the start of a loop-back.) https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/outflow-egyptian/

We can also use evidence from later in history. Most hearts have an outflow fire at the top, but image G shows a different kind of energy flow upward, and the bird shows the direction is upward. Image D is just interesting because "loop-back" of long-neck-birds has been a common topic of my posts recently. They are doing downward flow to the side bumps on the heart, but not shown is the presumed upward flow. More hearts, with varied uses: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/heart/

Image E has a collar of little lines at the top of the container, quite similar to the top of image "I" Hathor head, and similar to the top of image H. Both I and H are stacked tori, the top-center flow of Hathor goes up (hence the snake). But image J's headgear is a downward flow, so as a portal symbol above her head, either flow direction is possible.

Image F's container has the half circle of concentric rings, similar to image K, which is a different way to mark a portal. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/half-portals/

The lines above image F indicate upward flow, ( as all central spouts do, like image K too), but image F also has an inverted flower at the bottom, a downward flow indication, which is fairly rare to see.

Summary, I started with heart container evidence, being an upward flow, opposite polarity of the downward feather on the scales. Then muddied things with other symbols, but hopefully I teach through repetition.

I've posted about hearts and feathers and scales before, but I forgot what I said. I just checked, and luckily I had similar conclusions in 2023 and 2021, so that's nice.
