A loop-back, that red circle portal symbol with a one-snake path that goes up above the portal into the next higher density, and then comes back down as the snakehead. This works quite well and explains a lot.

Image A, it's appropriate to be on a curved-beak-bird. (Yes I know the names and stories.) This kind of birdhead symbol is the bidirectional kind of flow symbol, even without the symbol above the birdhead. The woman behind also has another loop-back symbol above her head.

Images read as energy-flow symbolism: A loop-back, that red circle portal symbol with a one-snake path that

Image B is a better view of the 'another loop-back'. Notice the longer vertical line goes up above the barrier. That semi-circle upward bulge symbol is a portal symbol.

Image J is the comparison for other loop-backs, a long-neck bird making the curved neck that comes back down. That's what image B is showing, and what the one snake on image A is showing. There are a great variety of loop-backs in this collection. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/loop-back/ https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/loop-back-animal/ https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/loop-back-long-neck/ https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/loop-back-snake/

Image B has an Anubis with pointed up-ears as the upward polarity, and the woman is the opposite polarity, the bidirectional/ downward kind that is more etheric.

Image C's woman has the loopback one-snake and also horns, which are a downward flow symbol. (the sistrum on the knee is an upward symbol).

The "Thoth" kind of bird is part of this discussion. It is also an upward then downward flow symbol, so what is the difference? Sometimes like image I, the two kinds of birdheads giving a downward flow are posed as opposite polarities. Sometimes these two kinds of birdheads are posed opposite of Anubis up-pointy ears. It's a little hard to reconsile.

I think the difference is whether the flow actually goes above a barrier, or not. I have not been able to find a Thoth with a one-snake loopback around a circular portal symbol, but there are plenty of horns and crescents marking Thoth, like image E and I.

Image D baffles me. Lions are generally upward outflow symbols, so I was suprised to see a loop-back one-snake marking a lion. I must keep searching and pondering this one. Image G is slightly baffling. Her forehead snake is a horizontal outflow, and above her "crown portal", usually there would be upward flow, but she has a loop-back one-snake and horns (downward flow). I just assume they had freedom to use headgear to override defaults.

Image H has the cone and bucket combined "crowns" on a curved-beak-bird. Those create a bidirectional attribute, and beside it is the one-snake loop-back symbol, I think it is acting as an extra hint.

A lot of Osirises are sitting and holding bidirectional crook and flail (not shown). They commonly have an upward cone and some side feathers for downward on their "crown", ie, bidirectional. The divine symbols all seem to be bidirectional.

The sitting horus like image A, to me seems like a visual same-meaning symbol. Image E puts an Osiris style hat on a horus head. Interchangability is wonderful, it tells us that image A and E's headgear have the same meaning.
