A half-head (image A) can be a portal symbol, https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1ATWA2raCa/ and sometimes there is a headband, a form of "ring portal". Everthing above that ring is considered to be in a higher-density reality. Image B's red circle is diagram of a portal torus, it's lower half is equivalent to the face half-head of image A. I've newly collected some headbands here: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/headband/ and a reminder that a ring is one of the most common ways to denote a portal in symbolism: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/ring-portal/

Images A to M of a half-head as a portal symbol: a headband ring portal with higher-density above, a red circle diagram of a portal torus, circles with outer dots, alternating torus barriers, pleats and castle battlements, crowns with bidirectional markers, and hood edges as portal symbols.

I'm starting with those that have dots or spheres, like image C, because I've been posting about "circle with outer dots" being a form of portal symbol, https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16iVkbTqS8/ and I've been suggesting these dots/sphere are little tori that are interlinked, making a barrier between realities. ( needing a portal to go through). Alternating orientation of tori is common in a barrier, and I like image H and I because they have alternating symbols, and H has an interconnection amongst them, like a necklace string. Image I's alternating seems like an "innie and an outie" for flow directions. Image D has "pleats", which is another way to mark a barrier. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/pleats/ Image E has castle battlements style of barrier interface between realities. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/rook-battlement/

I added two "crowns" because above the headband, there might be just "Sol" style spikes for upward "going up to heaven" flow (image F), but more commonly crowns have bidirectional markers above the headband. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/luna-and-sol/ https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/crown-cuphead/ Extra credit for images J, K, L and M. These hoods have edges that are where headbands are, with similar repeating symbols, so they seem to be portal symbols too. I like image J the most, because it uses transparency to indicate a higher-density above the face. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/barrier-hood/
