The "Up and Down" pattern, but the down side is often "Bidirectional" and sometimes that bidirectional side has "two things", like two scales of a balance, two sides of an open book.

The

I'm preparing a future post with more examples of these.

This post is about "two human-symbols" on the bidirectional side, and one human-symbol on the "up" side.

Each "up" symbol is either using an upward hand pose, or holding an up sword (image C).

The other side with two human-symbols, they all have a down hand holding a downward leaf.

Their other hands do various things, some show "up", some go to the midline core, and some do the "cheek palm" pose, which is a downward pose.

Instead of vertical side flow, the horizontal body means a horizontal plane flow, which splits into a "Y".

"Y"s in symbolism usually have both polarities, an up and a down.

(an inflow and an outflow).

Eva has the up hand pose, and Adam has the cheek palm pose.

Image F has wool-spinning symbolism, which often has a shovel or hoe making a bottom penetration portal, and the wool is like an up spearhead symbol.

That's totally off topic, but it's symbolism.

https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/wool-spinning/ The Eva from Adams rib being a horizontal "Y", I thought that was interesting.

"V" branching also can be about up and down polarities, but my collection is weak.

It needs more examples.

The Genesis story is loved, and these images seem to be a vehicle for this kind of art to have a coded meaning too.
