My previous post on this is here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HJ88UpdTz/ I've added more examples from Egypt into this collection: https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/curly-fingers/ The straight fingers show outflow direction (and often upward), the curled fingers are the inflow direction, and/or a loop-back like image D, which goes up and then comes back down in a more divine/etheric/higher-density energy state.

It's why I say the down side is bidirectional.

In Egypt, I've often wondered what those curled fingers are holding, but now I don't really care.

It may just be an excuse to curl the fingers.

Image A B and C are showing horizontal plane flows, in- and outward.

But you can easily find examples of two straight or two curled fingers hands.

And there are examples in the collection of a curled hand holding an ankh pointing outward, so I regard that as a bidirectional.

Image E has a curled hand horizontal, and F has a straight hand horizontal.

The sickle is a curve, a luna equivalent downward flow symbol.

The hammer will be a future post, because I'm having to gather a lot more examples as I am probably needing new ideas for it, ( and it's "need new ideas" day today).

Whoever made E and F knew the symbolism.

What the general public thinks this means, no longer matters.
