Followup about the deflating outflow concept, from my previous post https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1CKJj1fa35/ Which you should look at. The topic is about "eddies" or little vortices that are often seen on symbolism outflows (all the examples in this post). The new idea (for me) is that, after an outflow finishes inflating, there is a leakage from a flux tube that naturally wants to curl into a vortex, thereby creating its own "void" at the center, where it disappears from our reality. In popular terms, a black hole at the center of each eddy vortex.

After an outflow finishes inflating, there is a leakage from a flux tube that curls into a vortex, creating a void at the center where it disappears from our reality, like a black hole at the center of each eddy vortex, and this worldwide knowledge spans Mesoamerica, Peru and India.

Fire (image H) and Paisley (image G and I) are obvious outflow symbols, but I never understood why they put all the swirls inside those symbols. Maybe we also have a clue about why a cone shape is an outflow symbol, getting smaller toward the distal tip. The tails of Makara can be fishtails or snaketails (which inflow to the body), but the image C Makara tail is an outflow. Bird tails are usually inflow to the body, but image F has an outflow pattern from the tail. (and the mouths of both).

Image B is from Mesoamerica, E is from Peru, D is from India. Worldwide knowledge. Maybe they even knew what happens in literal fire to give it it's shape, whereas our modern science assumes it's thermal effects, bouyancy and turbulence.
