Fleur-de-lis have spiral curls, and occasionally there are flower symbols in them. From my recent posts from looking at Khmer symbolism, the details in their carvings (like image A) led to a new understanding about curled flow that forms spirals, and those form their own portal, shown sometimes by a flower-symbol, whereby that energy flow exits our reality by going into the portal ( which is an inlet or outlet through the barrier separating realities/dimensions). The side curls on fleur-de-lis, now have a clear meaning, (for me, and hopefully other symbolism researchers), they form side portals.

Fleur-de-lis have spiral curls and occasionally flower symbols, with side curls forming side portals where energy flow exits our reality, and the tube at the center is not just the literal stem but also about where the energy flow goes.

Image F is Minoan, and it gives us the pattern of energy flowing from our-reality, to another, then back to our-reality, etc. When you see the tube at the center of image A's flow, it's not *just* the literal stem of the plant, it has the hidden meaning about where the energy flow goes. This collection has some flowers, and some little people-symbols at the center of those curls. Many of these little people have "up" direction hints, but some have "down". https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/portal-central-spiral/

The "dinosaur" on image G is actually a pig/boar like on image H, a downward symbol. Image H also gives us the "pleats" pattern, also seen on image I, typically marking the barrier around the portal to the next higher reality.
