The Skinny Part on the Fleur-de-Lis
The skinny part on the Fleur-de-lis, near letter "B", had confused me. This post shows the skinny part can be found worldwide. Image C is Maya, D is Sassanian, E is Khmer, F, G and H are India.
Botanists might say this is some literal part of a plant (colored yellow), but these are found on non-plant examples too, like bird, lion and makara tails. The khmer tube on image E may look leafy, but I think they were trying to show fiery surfaces and outflows. Look for the portals (colored purple) and when high-density energy comes out of the portal, it expands and also seems to have several sizes of smaller tubes that were either already present inside the origin, or formed upon exiting the portal. Smallness generally indicates higher density in symbolism. Summarizing, a variety of energy densities come out of a portal and stay in tubes for varying distances.
