Tension that pulls things together, and sometimes a bite-across as an anchor. As I continue my search, I stumbled into these, and what is remarkable is they mostly use the horizontal plane (aka waist) for these connections.

Tension pulls things together, and a bite-across can act as an anchor, mostly using the horizontal plane at the waist for these connections. Flux tubes can provide tension, as with the color flux tube of the strong force, snapping magnetar flux tubes, and plasma arcs on the sun that snap under tension. Building cross-linked surfaces of little tori needs tension, so the examples are uncommon but important.

I have several recent posts about realizing that flux tubes can sometimes provide tension. ( Other examples are: the strong force pulling quarks together is called a color flux tube. Magnetars sometimes have snapping flux tubes that damage their surface. Our sun surface has plasma arcs in flux tubes that sometimes snap, showing they were under tension.)

What I'm showing in this post is uncommon to find, and easy to dismiss. But I'm trying to build up examples showing how one torus could interlink with another, and then create cross-linked surfaces of little tori, and tension is a needed property. With this post, I think I'm showing that this was hidden knowledge encoded into symbolism for the elite to smirk about while normies make up stories to explain it.
