Sleeves as Flux Tube Walls

Sleeves as flux tube walls. Notice the pulling/tension along the sleeves of image A. Tension is also on image B (and some of my fairly recent posts.

Sleeves act as flux tube walls, with pulling or tension along them. Flared sleeves mark the ends of flux tubes and the bare arms are smaller flux tubes that emerge, while fleur-de-lis on the outside are outflows from the tube surface and the tadpole shapes on ermine skin are outflows aimed inward. Empty shirts on the ground, and chopped up limbs at the bottom of a pictogram, are remnants of flux tube debris after the contents spill out.

Image E and F use flared sleeves as the ends of flux tubes, and the bare arms are the smaller flux tubes that emerge (or form on-the-spot). Image H is instructive about barrier structure. Fleur-de-lis on the outside are the outflows from tube surfaces, and the black "tadpole" shapes on the ermine skin, I think those are outflows directed inward into the lumen of the tube. ( Ermine, Hermine, Hermetic seal... for people who like words, which isn't my strong suit).

Why is image D a symbol? Something about horizontal flux probably. Image G's iconography has many examples, and I've always wondered why empty shirts are laying on the ground. Now I think these are empty remants of flux tube debris, like when a flux tube ends and it's contents spill out, some forms a new small flux tube, some curls up into a vortex and disappears, and some just becomes aether debris. Chopped up limbs is a weirder example, typically found at the bottom of a pictogram, I think they also represent remnants of flux tubes.

Image C and many like it, has been a puzzle. If the upper half of the center person is a flow newly emerged from a portal, (hands showing upward flow), those side flow people could be teaching about flux stuff assembling a flux tube wall on-the-spot. OK, that's really speculating. Green man uses vines as flux tubes. Greensleeves was never a surname. I've been that guy in the greensleeves song, (and in the green stamps parody song). Perhaps we've all been that guy.
