Fabric Left Behind When Flux Crosses a Portal
Fabric left behind. Image A has a red cushion that always marks the horizontal plane (of a torus, of a chair), and the seat of a chair is also the horizontal plane. The book is a portal symbol. Chairs often serve as portal symbols, (using the horizontal plane) so everything above the seat is considered to be in the next higher density. (You might say "divine" is above that seat, but I don't go as far as saying a king or a named deity was literally sitting in our reality.)
This post is working on the hypothesis that a cloak or cloth can represent the outer surface of a flux tube, and when the flux inside that tube goes through the portal, the outer barrier is left behind, unable to go through the portal, hence the empty flaccid cloth.
Image D and E have an abundance of floppy cloth that mostly stops at the waist level, because the waist is the horizontal plane (symbolically for a torus person-symbol), But fairly often there is also some cloth like a sleeve around one arm. That's weird, but I put this idea out to consider, that other flux tube symbols like snails and cornucopias have the big opening at a tilted angle. Maybe that's a physics thing.
Image F's fabric seems quite good for representing a flux tube that opens at the waist (where a portal is presumed). Image G gives us a hint about that cloth being like a cornucopia with fruit at the opening. Image L has flowers instead of fruit, and it has some fabric looping down from the open end. Image H not only has a high-density ribbon coming out of the cornucopia flux tube, it has some blowing fabric too.
From now on, whenever I see horizontally blowing fabric, I'm going to think it might be discarded flux tube barrier wall material. Mithras and Sassanians often have blowing capes, and many other Greek+Roman person-symbols. Image I uses transparency for the higher-density flux, and cloth for the outer barrier. I found a lot of examples like this.
I've been collecting cloth evidence for many days, and this is just a part of it,. Not all cloth has specific meanings, but I thought I should share some of my progress before I forget what I found. I have previous posts on this topic, of the fate of flux tube walls.
