I had fun with AI. It would be nice if pictograms had marker signs like those point of interest signs. They do, maybe 10% of the time, but using hint symbols and not words. The left column are upward flow and the right column portals are downward flow.

A playful AI image imagines pictograms carrying marker signs like roadside point of interest signs. Pictograms do use such markers about ten percent of the time, but with hint symbols instead of words. In the illustration the left column marks upward flow and the right column portals mark downward flow.
