Animals as Flux in Flux Tubes with Dots and Ladder Lines
When animals represent flux in flux tubes, a recent post showed dots on the animals. If you haven't seen my posts for a while, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/189SPbczFQ/ This post shows ladder lines as interchangeable with dots.
Image A is my only clue about what the ladder steps represent, showing little snail vortices. Not good enough for evidence of "why". It's a pattern, but I don't know why. Plenty of my previous posts involve dots and vortices within flux tubes. Image B has the lines on the legs, and dots on the body.
Image D has the flux tube connection between fish using lines (whereas much more common are dots or stars) https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/pisces/ Image F snakes use lines on one snake and dots on the other. I have not been able to figure out any difference between those snakes. Image G substitutes a fish with lines/stripes, in place of the flux tube on image D. Biting across something marks a portal, so D and G have 2 mouths acting as portals.
Image I has the lines/stripes on scarf fabric (and those typically are downward flow) and on a vertical snake with upward flow. Lots of Egyptian symbols involving flow use this style. Djeds and various kinds of staff come to mind. https://ca.pinterest.com/stevenbhalls/djed/
Simple symbols like dots and ladder lines are easily dismissed as decorative, or just natural patterns on living animals. It's time allow these to have a meaning of marking something that flows or connects or interlinks using flux tubes. When both vertical lines and horizontal little lines are present, the verticals often mean downward and the little horizontal lines mean upward. Image I shows that its not reliable to make a rule about it.
