Raw-Vegan

“Breakfast”

If you are on the go, one secret to a successful raw vegan diets is to prep the time-consuming foods in bulk, so that you have all the ingredients handy. Sprouting legumes and soaking grains and nuts or dehydrating foods usually takes the longest amounts of time. You can mix and match different ingredients to have a variety of meals. For breakfast, you can slice an apple or pear and put raw nut butter on it to enjoy your raw vegan diet journey.

Depending on your caloric intake, you can also soak a few portions of raw oatmeal overnight so that it softens and have it ready for mornings that you want grains for breakfast: just add fresh berries into it. Oatmeal is high in dietary fiber, which is essential for a healthy digestive system and berries are low in sugar and high in vitamins and antioxidants.

“Lunch”

Lunch can involve vegetable wraps or stuffed cucumbers. To make this raw vegan diets meal not difficult and hasty, make a batch big enough for leftovers of sprouted beans from lentils, mung beans, or soy for protein. Soybeans provide you with many essential amino acids. To make the wrap, add antioxidant-rich veggies, such as tomato, onion, bell pepper, avocado, and other veggies and place them on top of a collard green leaf.

Collard greens are a cruciferous vegetable that brings you vitamins K, A and C, calcium and nutrients that decrease inflammation and cancer from happening. Add the sprouted legumes and wrap the collard green as you would do to a burrito. An substitute is to use nori seaweed as a wrap or scoop out the seeds of the cucumber and unite the ingredients inside to enjoy your raw vegan diets even more.

“Dinner”

Your dinner can include raw vegan diets soups with a quick and simple preparation. For a tomato soup blend roma tomatoes and add Italian herb and olive oil. Warm the soup to just below 116 degrees F, which helps to make the lycopene easier for your body to use. Lycopene and other nutrients in tomatoes help to prevent prostate cancer. For a creamy soup, blend nuts like soaked cashews, water and spices.

Cashews offer healthy oils like the heart-healthy oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat similar to olive oil. Add veggies like crimini mushrooms for a high amount of selenium, which supports your antioxidant system to protect you from cancer causing free-radicals.

“Snack”

Make a fairly large batch of fruit or vegetable smoothies to keep handy if you need to snack between your raw vegan diets meals. Always carry raw snacks with you, like a bag of raw trail mix with dried fruit and nuts, or simply a whole apple, orange or your favorite fruit or veggie. See, now raw vegan diets doesn’t sound too bad at all, doesn’t it?

no gatorade for raw vegan dietsno soda for raw vegan diets

Don’t drink these…

Drinks you should really consider phasing out during your raw vegan diets adventure, are gatorades and sodas. They have a whole load of sugar in them, which is very unhealthy and your body really does not need in raw vegan diets. There also may be something in those sweetened drinks that’s triggering your entire body to release more poop.
You might also think about adding complete whole grains, such as barley, millet, etc. They will help you balance out your body as well, and return it to a regular schedule. They also provide you with great complex carbohydrates. But what’s most important is to never forget to eliminate all sodas and gatorades from your raw vegan diets journey.

Hector Hector

Tyler Tyler

“Another way
you could turn orange..”

Is by eating too many oranges, red peppers, cantaloupe and pumpkins. I have personal experience with the red peppers, true story, I ate so many, I did start turning orange.

“Hey! What’s wrong with being orange?”

That reminds me of a limerick,
There once was a moose who was orange,
who googled the word sporange.
then searched the merits,
of eating only carrots,
lost interest, preferring porridge.
